There are moments of inspiration where he discovers the truth. Once he has, nothing can stop him. With the body of a child and the mind of an adult, when Detective Conan's on the job, no case is left unsolved!
This weekend's 5 episodes of Detective Conan were as follows:
- The first episode is the second part of a case where a man managed to stab his wife while several kilometers away on a police station. Conan figures out the method that the man used involving an exercise bike, a string, a bookcase and a knife.
- On the second episode, the junior detective league is on a train. A guy is taking pictures of said train from a ladder, but suddenly, the ladder strangely falls and he falls into the rails! Fortunately, the train stops in time, but they then discover that another person died on the train during the emergency break! As usual, of course, Conan solves the case.
- On the third episode, Conan, Ran and Detective Mouri are watching a show where a man seems to drown during a Sentai-style show being put up for kids. While initially the case points to a suicide, Conan discovers that the man was really murdered before the show even started.
- On the fourth and fifth episodes, Jiromi, the sister of a girl called Megumi that Detective Mouri used to teach is killed by a bomb set in Megumi's car. Initially it is discovered that the bomb was really meant for Megumi and was caused by her husband, who was having an affair with Jiromi, but further investigation by Conan and Mouri discovers that Megumi actually knew of the bomb beforehand, and purposely had her sister drive her car so she wuld die.
All in all, pretty cool stuff. Now let's hope tomorrow I don't miss the rerun of the episode I forgot to record and watch last Friday :/
Also, in today's second episode of Lupin III (I missed the first one), Goemon's indestructible sword, the Tetsuken, is stolen by Fujiko and sold to an evil man called Carmone. Lupin, Goemon and Jigen have to get the Tetsuken back before Carmone, who is using it in a remote-controlled plane, manages to cause too much damage with it. And why is Fujiko taking pictures in the mean-time? Lupin and co eventually manage to defeat Carmone by using the one thing the Tetsuken can't cut through: Konyaku (which is apparently a kind of potato).
